Have you ever
stopped to think about,
the people that
we all lock out.

We ignore them
when we walk on by.
looking to the ground
or at the sky.

If we pretend
we don’t see there sadness,
we write it off
as just plain madness.

I wonder
how many life’s would deepen,
seeing people who’s existence
we don’t just cheapen.

Realize that we
affect each person.
When we judge,
their life we worsen.

It takes one second,
to change a day.
Even a smile,
takes a frown away.

Some people
always feeling crappy.
It takes so little
to make them happy.

If we took time,
learn about one person.
Do you really think,
our life’s would worsen.

My guess is that,
the more one shares.
Within a few minutes,
you’d give your life for theirs.
