My two cents:
A few days ago, Gadhafi’s son Seif, held a
press conference at the Rixos al Nasr hotel in
Tripoli. When he heard the news of the
thousands of victims from the country ’s
uprising, Seif said, "Soon you will discover
that what you have heard about Libya is only
a joke. A big joke, here we laugh about the
news speaking of hundreds or thousands of
victims, bombings in Tripoli, Bengasi, Zawiya
or any other place."
This has been consistent with the vitriolic
rhetoric we hear from his father recently in
his chilling ‘rivers of blood’ speech and more
recently when Muammar said, "Those who
don't love me do not deserve to live, it will
be hell for them". No matter where you
look you will see the leaders of the world
outspoken in their condemnation of the
actions of the Gadhafi family. From Clinton to
Putin to Sarkozy and way beyond, the
message is the same.
The saying, ‘success has many fathers, though
failure is a bastard’, has proven all the more
relevant in Libya.
In January 2003, a secret ballot was held
resulting in Libya being elected chairman of
the United Nations Human Rights
Commission, despite opposition from the
United States. Libya was backed by 33
members, with 3 countries voting against and
17 members abstaining. Human rights groups
have been very vocal at Libya assuming the
chairmanship.
The 33 member nations that backed the
ascension of Libya to this position have NO
excuse as Libya has more than three decades
of recorded human rights abuses.
This is yet another nail in the coffin of
condemnation of the laughing stock that is
both the UN and UNHCR.

In the Liberal capitol of the world, London,
Hizb ut Tahrir (the Liberation Party) turned
out at to protest against Gadhafi. They called
for a system change to an Islamic Caliphate in
the Muslim world. Around 500 vocal Hizb ut
Tahrir supporters and members attended the
protest.

In the USA, baby faced convert, Zachary
Chesser of Virginia, was sentenced to 25
years in prison after pleading guilty to
attempting to provide material support to a
Somali-based terrorist group and threatening
the lives of the writers of “South Park".
Professional cry babies CAIR applauded the
Southern Poverty Law Center in designating
Pamela Gellar, the SIOA and its supporters, a
hate group. "One need not go beyond the
name of this hate group, Stop the
Islamization of America, to recognize the
validity of the Southern Poverty Law Center's
designation," said CAIR National
Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper.
